Carreg Cottage is a white mid terraced cottage overlooking the local fields, the Llugwy river and Moel Siabod. It accommodates up to 4 people and 1 small dog so is ideal for couples and families.
Downstairs accommodation
The lounge has a view over the garden, the Llugwy river and meadows, and on a clear day of Moel Siabod. It has a wood-burning stove set in a fireplace with the original Welsh slate lintel. There are two leather settees, side tables, wood style flooring and a rug. Fast broadband and WiFi, Internet TV, DVD player, CD player, selection of games and books.
The lounge leads into the kitchen diner which is a delightful airy room. The modern fitted kitchen is well equipped with plenty of storage, built in multi-function oven and ceramic hob with stylish chimney extractor fan, an integrated dishwasher, and a fridge. In the dining area, there is a modern maple wood table and chairs for six. The kitchen leads into the utility room and downstairs WC.
The utility room is well provisioned for storing boots, shoes and other outdoor gear. It has an additional sink and drainer, a washing machine and a freezer and further storage. The downstairs cloakroom has a WC and basin. The back door and rear of the property is accessed from the utility room.
Upstairs accommodation
A carpeted staircase leads from the lounge to the upstairs accommodation. Here there are 2 bedrooms and a modern shower room.
Bedroom 1 has a king sized bed, wardrobe and chests of drawers and a view across the fields to Moel Siabod.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds, a wardrobe and bedside table with views over the hills to the rear.
The shower room has a modern walk in shower enclosure, WC and basin.
Outside
At the front, there is small paved garden and a larger grassy area beyond. The paved area is a perfect sun trap and ideal for sitting admiring the views over to Moel Siabod and Snowdon and passing the time.
To the rear of the property, there is a shared driveway which leads to the rear entrance of the cottage. There is limited parking to the rear of the property and at the end of the terrace row. Further parking and a free public car park is available just a short walk away near the local outdoor shop. There is also a communal area for drying laundry.
We encourage our guests to use the rear back door which leads into the utility room. The front door leads into the sitting room.
